Grid: Facilitating the Development of Future-ready No-code Applications

CIO Vendor With constantly changing market dynamics, there has been a growing demand for flexibility and swift delivery of technology solutions in India. Various companies, due to their diverse business objectives, are constantly looking for the level of customization that one can bring through a digital solution. Furthermore, due to Covid- 19, it became imperative for businesses to drastically evolve the way they engage internally and externally to accommodate remote operations; thus leading to an increased pressure on IT/Technology teams for application delivery. This has created new opportunities for no-code solution providers to develop applications that promise speed of delivery, flexibility and faster feedback loops. Although India has seen a rise of no-code application builders in the last couple of years, there is still a huge gap in both skills and commitment towards promotion of citizen development as a concept, especially for traditionally non-technology focused sectors like manufacturing or infrastructure.

Grid is one such no-code platform that has been digitally revolutionizing business operations by developing future- ready no-code applications. The platform is focused on turning around operational efficiencies with a focus on information gathering, integration and management. Being an enterprise ready product, Grid is cloud agnostic and also comes in an on-premise deployment mode. Furthermore, Grid is also built with offline capabilities to ensure its reliability even in the remotest areas.

“We believe data collection should be a part of business processes, wherein, all the data that is collected should be integrated across different workflows to provide real-time feedback for managerial decision making. Our critical features for enterprises include an end-to-end
information management system consisting of mobile application builder, access controller, IoT and other connectors (integrations). We also have a powerful real-time data manipulation and visualization engine that is inbuilt on the platform and helps generate insights from the same,” says Shaurya Poddar, CMO at Grid.

Hand-holding Clients throughout their Digital Journey
Grid has developed its effective service delivery models right from testing to building. Their delivery team handholds enterprises with high touch support during the trial phase to ensure the values of no-code application development is passed on to the end customers. Also, they have been focusing on building a robust team at customer’s end to help them build their own solutions. Capability building, Support and Education are the three pillars that give them an edge in meeting every diverse expectation of clients. Grid’s robust sector driven approach has enabled them to build features and integrations with industry leading solutions and incorporate peculiar needs of the industry. Its technically- adept team has always focused on providing an integrated solution to industries and delivering experiences that delight.

Going forward, the company is set to launch its first industry focused product powered by Grid called Hyperdash. The product is focused on solving smart city challenges and is also gearing up to launch Hyperdash Labs which will be the first of its kind R&D center to work on smart urban infrastructure products. This is also focused on a no-code backend to create an integrated city management experience. “We will continue to focus on other verticals and simultaneously upgrade our IIoT capabilities. While we focus on customer success and education on citizen development, we are looking forward to invest more towards R&D and integration of future technologies onto the platform,” concludes Shaurya.
